Arghhhhh....
Well the 4 hr was a blast, er a bust....depends on how ya look at it. I got to hang out with some great people and drink beer while camping an riding. Awesome! Bust....i cramped up...big time. Single speed, hills, lack of training, and 90 degree heat. Bad combo. Ended up 12th technically, 13th if Sam woulda taken another lap. ( i wanted to take a fun lap, cuz the others hurt too much. 4+ hrs on the bike. Great time for the 1st race in 10+ years. Next race? Dont know when, but prob. a shorter one. Thanks ya'll. I had a blast. Its so much more fun racing MTB's now then it was back in the day. Peeps ride hard and know how to kick it Old Style after. Next time you guys pass me, hand me a beer eh!
