double butted steel...not near it, so cant tell you what kind. I'm guessing its lighter, though i have no way to determine that.....the eccentric is sweet!
Perception is often more powerful than reality...And uh last time i checked that fork alone weighs about a pound lighter than just about anything else out there:) ZDogg
